    I guess some of you may not agree with me & think I'm being to conservative, but I'd be interested in your thoughts about this book especially if others have read it.

    Well, you certainly have me curious. I'll have to get my hands on a copy. I don't think i'd have a problem with the idea of a young Jesus struggling with hatred, for a couple of reasons. One being, i question the whole 'original sin' paradigm, and won't get into it here. The other reason is, we are assured in scripture that Jesus was in all ways tempted as we are. And heresy is, as heresy does imho.

    I don't think there is anything sinful about feeling hatred as long as you don't act on it. If we think of feelings, thoughts, urges, etc, as "sinful" we are likely to lie to ourselves and say we don't feel/think the way we really do.
