Seraphim!
It was so long ago, it seems like a dream to me now. I remember how much you turned me on to Yaconelli back then, bless his soul.

You were right. I thought my preferences setting would only allow me to see threads within the past 2 years, but there's a setting for viewing all threads with which I was not aware. This thread was invisible to me until I changed that setting. I wonder how many people can't see this.
It was striking re-reading this thread, the difference in tone and depth of the conversation from those old posters. I couldn't remember that I used to post like that. It seems so foreign and different to me now. Did I change? I didn't realize.

yea.
I don't think you changed that much other. maybe a little tinsie winsie rougher around the edges... but overall still open to the mystery, the journey and the wonder.
I think the Ooze has changed, from a place where these kind of conversations can happen though. But time marches on..

Thank you, my friend, but I think you are correct about rougher around the edges. And I don't want to go in that direction. It seems to me that my posts were just as overly long as they are now [ugh!]... but more gracious, interactive, and thought out more deeply. I wonder how I might move more in that direction in my life here and elsewhere.
But thank you for resurrecting this thread.

I still find myself going back and looking at and looking up old threads. There was a lot of good stuff discussed, stuff worth re-reading.

My least favorite thing is when I remember something someone posted and then I have to go searching for it.

I've learned to appreciate those times as opportunities for rediscovery.
